GOLF CLEAN UNIT MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

GENERAL MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS:

1.       The Golf Clean unit may be mounted on either the left or right side of the golf cart.

2.       Mount unit with the club side facing the rear of golf cart.

3.       Test the mounting position on the cart to ensure that it is acceptable before mounting the Golf Clean unit to the cart.  You want to be sure that both chambers are functional and that the unit is relatively level for best drainage results.

4.       Make sure the mounting screws are lined up with the holes in the mounting pedestal on the bottom of the Golf Clean unit club cleaning chamber.

5.       Tighten the mounting screws until snug.  DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN the mounting screws.  Excessive tightening of screws will cause the screw to strip.

GOLF CAR FENDER MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS (Requires drilling holes in the golf car.):

1.       Make sure you follow the General Mounting Instructions above.

2.       Check below the fender to insure that you will not damage any part of golf car (i.e., gas line, wiring, tire, etc.) when you drill the holes in the fender.

3.       Use the template provided with your Golf Clean unit to mark the location of the holes to be drilled in the golf car fender.  (Ensure that the template holes line up with the mounting pedestal holes on the bottom of the Golf Clean club cleaning chamber.)

4.       Use a ¼” drill bit to drill the holes that you marked from the template.

5.       Use the four (4) screws with the washers provided to screw up through the underside of the golf car fender into the Golf Clean unit mounting pedestals as shown at the right.

MOUNTING BRACKET MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS (OPTIONAL)  (Does not require drilling holes in the golf car and applies to plastic, metal, and powder coated metal brackets.):

1.       Make sure you follow the General Mounting Instructions above.

2.     Insert the two bolts provided into adjoining holes in the mounting bracket plate.   Which two holes to use depends on whether you are mounting on a horizontal, vertical, or angled seat brace, sweater basket or golf car frame post.  You can also move the unit farther forward or backward on the cart by the holes you select in the bracket.

3.  Use the four screws provided to attach the Golf Clean unit to the mounting bracket as shown at the right.

4.       Secure the mounting bracket to the post as shown at the right.  Fit the two bolts around the post.  Slide the smaller mounting bracket (with metal insert for the plastic bracket or by itself for the metal bracket) over the bolts. Then slide the washers over the bolts and tighten nuts securely.  DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN nuts for plastic bracket.

SUCTION CUP MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS (OPTIONAL) NOT RECOMMENDED FOR FENDER MOUNTING:

1.       Use the four screws provided to screw through the suction cups into the mounting pedestals on the bottom of the Golf Clean unit.

2.       Find a clean, flat, smooth, and dry surface for mounting the unit.  SUCTION CUPS WILL NOT STICK TO POROUS OR DIRTY SURFACES.

3.       Slightly moisten only the edge of the suction cups.  OVER WETTING THE SUCTION CUPS WILL CAUSE THE UNIT TO SLIDE.  Press unit firmly onto the surface.   If the unit slides, dry the cups, moisten only the edge of the cups and reapply.
